Robson Square Ice Rink Schools Program

The Robson Square Ice Rink will once again be offering its Schools Program from Dec. 1, 2023 – Feb. 29, 2024. The program is open to Grade 4 to 7 classes throughout the province of BC.

The Schools Program provides free skating as well as free ice skate rentals and helmets. You also can sign up for a free 20-minute skating lesson at the beginning of your session. Ice rink instructors will teach your students basic skating skills and provide safety tips.

Schools Program skating sessions are held on school days from Monday through Friday until Tuesday, February 28, at the following time slots:

• 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

SCHOOL APPLICATION

While the ice skating at Robson Square is free of charge for your Grades 4 to 7 classes, schools are responsible for their students’ transportation to and from the rink.

Please Note:

• School groups are encouraged to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their time slot to allow for skate and helmet fitting. Ice skates and a helmet will be provided, although students may bring their own if they wish.
