COVID-19 Safety Plan
Robson Square Ice Rink – COVID-19 Safety Plan
Our goal at the Robson Square Ice Rink is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests and team members. To that end we have developed an extensive COVID-19 safety plan that adheres to Orders of the Office of the Provincial Health Officer and WorkSafeBC guidelines. In addition, we are actively monitoring the situation and will make adjustments to our protocols as required.
Before coming to the Robson Square Ice Rink, please carefully read our COVID-19 protocols as outlined below. If you have any questions regarding our protocols, please contact us at RSQIceRink@pacegroup.com
Please do not visit the Robson Square Ice Rink if you or someone in your household:
- Have had any symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days
- Have been advised by a public health official to self-isolate in the last 14 days
- Have travelled outside of B.C. within the last 14 days
Stay home if you are sick. By entering our site, you are declaring that you are in good health. Please take the BC Health self-assessment if you are unsure.
Upon reaching the Robson Square Plaza (Ice Rink Level), non-medical masks must be worn at all times, both on and off the ice.
Vaccine Card Check
To skate at the Robson Square Ice Rink, or to enter the Skate Rental and Café, all participants will be required to show proof of receiving 2 doses of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) vaccine, along with government issued photo ID (i.e., driver’s license, passport, status card). Once proof of vaccination is confirmed, a non-transferable wristband will be provided and must be worn to gain access to the Skate Rental, Café and Ice Rink.
To limit the spread of COVID-19, we are:
- Cleaning and disinfecting rental skates and helmets after each use.
- Cleaning around the rink and sanitizing high-touch areas.
- Screening staff daily for their health.
It is ALL our responsibility to ensure we follow these protocols so that we can continue to enjoy outdoor skating at Robson Square. We appreciate your patience and cooperation and look forward to welcoming you.
